Dear Women,
Good morning, it’s a chilly one, I hope you’re staying warm. In follow-up from last week’s post about Hope, this week is about Hope’s big sister – Fate. While Hope may be a fickle mistress, Fate is set in her ways and dead-locked on her path. Have Hope, truly believe, but always remember that all the Hope in the world won’t change Fate. Sometimes Fate will pat Hope on the head now and again, simply for having faith in things that will never happen. While other times Fate and Hope will fight, because both disagree on what they consider “right”. Hope will always remind you to trust, to believe, and have Faith. Fate will remind you that everything happens for a reason, and if you don’t understand that reason right now, just wait. Personification aside, Hope is a powerful emotion and feeling, Fate however, is a powerful truth. Whether you believe in; God, Fate, Destiny, the futility of choice or nothing at all, things happen for a reason, pre-determined or otherwise. And as tough as this is to hear, what was supposed to or had to happen, is what happens. If not, it wouldn’t have taken place. An unfortunately simple and often painful truth. So please, keep Hope, hold it dear and cherish her when she prevails. But always know and be ready for what Fate has in store for you if you can. You might not know and you might not be able to actually prepare yourself for the moment Fate does win, and that’s okay. Remember that you are not alone. Fate has triumphed Hope for everyone at one time or another. And I know it hurts. Badly. But you’ll make it through this. You’ll learn a lesson or be a better person because of it. I promise. Things happen for a reason, I truly believe this. Assess any failures and instead approach them as future Plans of Action – and move on. Don’t lose touch with Hope, she’s important, just know that sometimes, no matter how good you are to her, she will let you down, and you will feel alone. You are not alone though. You. Are. Not. Alone. Hold on and tough through, it will get better, I promise you. Hope is often tried with each individual, don’t give up on her. You’ll find a way out of the darkness and back to her, in a different place (mentally or physically). Please smile, you will be okay. And as always; Much Love, Smile On.
Sincerely,
Hopeless Romantics
