Dear Women,

Good morning! This morning isn’t as much of a rant as it is a very brief reminder regarding mistakes, flaws and failures. Two quick points: First, Failures (from now on encompassing the others – mistakes and flaws) are not fun to experience, we all know this, but they are IMPERATIVE for personal and professional growth. If you never fail, you’re right, you will see great success, but you’ll be the same person forever, never having learned, changed or grown. We, as a society, must become more accepting of failures, learn EVERYTHING we can from them, and then move on. Everyone will fail, what determines the difference between maturity, responsibility and self-awareness is how we deal with those failures when they happen and how we learn from them. Second point; Self-actualization, HONEST self-actualization is key here. Identifying a failure, mistake or flaw is the first step towards growth, and not an easy one. Then, being able to not only forgive yourself for that, but more importantly to really, deeply, and wholly analyze what caused that failure is key. I know, this is much easier said than done, but I promise you, if you are able to be more accepting of the fact that you will fail, to be able to identify those failures, and then analyze those failures so you can learn from them, you will grow as a person! In life, you can really acquire just about anything from a variety of sources, whether that be happiness, money, success, etc. But personal growth really only comes from experiencing and learning from failure. Failing doesn’t make you a failure! You’re still incredible and a great person. Don’t ever forget that, but please, who you are as a person is the most important thing you add to this world we live in. And I know I’ve said it before, but we need you. Humanity needs you. Society needs you. And I need you. You are loved no matter what. Failures do not dictate your character or personality, only your journey. And as always; Much Love, Smile On.

Sincerely,
Hopeless Romantics
